Uxbridge Dental Care

Building the website and the search strategy together.

Uxbridge Dental Care's original website helped establish a new clinic online. The next phase has a larger goal: build organic visibility and create a stronger source of qualified patient leads.

The Astro website launched in August 2026. Technical SEO was built into that rebuild. The 12-month SEO program is ongoing, and organic search results are still being monitored.

01 / The starting point

The first website solved the first problem.

Uxbridge Dental Care was a new clinic when the original WordPress website was built in 2024.

At that stage, the immediate requirement was establishing the clinic online and making sure existing patients could find the new location and understand the services available.

We built the original website and completed the initial SEO requirements around that launch. As the clinic moved from establishing itself toward growth, the job of the website changed.

The website that gets a business launched isn't always the website it needs for the next stage.

02 / The next problem

Being online isn't the same as being found.

The clinic wants to grow more through organic search and generate more qualified leads. That is what the launched website and the ongoing SEO program are built to support.

The goal isn't simply a redesigned website. It is a website capable of supporting a long-term organic search strategy. None of the search goals below are claimed as achieved yet—they define the SEO work still underway.

Organic search

Increase the site's ability to compete for relevant searches.

Local visibility

Strengthen the clinic's presence for searches tied to Uxbridge and the surrounding market.

Content

Build useful service and informational content around actual patient search needs.

Technical SEO

Make crawlability, structure, metadata, schema, internal linking, and performance part of the build.

Conversion

Make it straightforward for the right visitor to understand the clinic and take the next step.

Ongoing growth

Create a foundation that can continue expanding as the SEO program continues.

03 / Search strategy

Start with what people are actually searching for.

The SEO strategy will be informed by search intent rather than simply adding keywords to existing pages.

That process considers services people search for, local search behaviour, informational questions, treatment and service intent, geographic relevance, competition, existing search visibility, and opportunities for useful supporting content.

Keyword research is still underway, so specific keyword findings are not listed here.

Search strategy should determine what deserves a page—not just what words go on it.

04 / Site architecture

Search visibility starts with how the website is organized.

SEO requirements shaped the architecture of the Astro rebuild from the beginning—rather than being applied after another website was finished.

SEO architecture is easier to build correctly than retrofit later.

05 / WordPress → Astro

We rebuilt the foundation around the new goal.

The WordPress site was replaced with an Astro website managed by RDC, launched in August 2026.

WordPress itself is not framed as the SEO problem. The decision was about creating a technical foundation appropriate for the next phase of the website—one where architecture, content, and search requirements can be controlled together.

Clean internal linking

Predictable URL architecture

Minimal unnecessary client-side JavaScript

Maintainability

Direct control over technical SEO implementation

The framework doesn't create search visibility. It gives us control over the foundation that supports it.

06 / Technical SEO

Build search requirements into the code.

We control both development and SEO on this project. Recommendations do not need to be handed to another development team and interpreted later.

Technical SEO was implemented as part of the website rebuild. Scores and measured organic improvements are not claimed yet—those results are still being monitored after launch.

When development and SEO share the same plan, fewer requirements get lost between them.

07 / Local search

For a dental clinic, where matters.

Organic visibility for a local clinic is not just traditional website SEO. The ongoing strategy includes local-search signals and the clinic's presence outside the website.

Map-pack rankings are not guaranteed. Citation counts, review totals, ratings, and Google Business Profile performance are not invented here.

Google Business Profile

Ongoing optimization and management.

Local citations

Maintain consistent and useful business information across relevant sources.

Reviews

Develop an appropriate review strategy.

Local content

Make geographic relevance clear without creating thin or spammy location content.

Structured data

Use appropriate schema to help describe the business and website.

Website

Ensure local signals on the site support rather than conflict with external profiles.

08 / Content

Build pages worth finding.

We have previously written website and blog content for Uxbridge Dental Care and continue developing content as part of the launched website and SEO engagement.

The content strategy supports both service intent—people looking for a dentist or specific dental service—and informational intent—people researching a question, treatment, concern, or decision.

Blog content should not exist simply to satisfy a publishing calendar. Articles and pages should have a reason to exist within the search and content architecture.

Publishing more isn't the strategy. Publishing the right things is.

09 / From search to patient

Traffic isn't the business goal.

Ranking for a search only matters if the resulting visitor can understand the clinic, determine whether the service is relevant, and find an appropriate next step.

Patient outcomes are not promised here, and conversion measurements are not invented. The website needs to connect search visibility to clear information and a useful next action.

10 / 12-month engagement

Launch is where the SEO work starts getting interesting.

The launched website is the foundation, not the entire SEO strategy.

We manage ongoing SEO monthly over the planned 12-month engagement. That program is underway—not already completed. Exact work should respond to actual search data and business priorities rather than following a rigid checklist.

This cycle describes how the engagement operates. It has not already produced results to publish.

Measure

Search visibility, queries, pages, local performance, and useful business signals.

Learn

Understand what's gaining traction and where gaps remain.

Improve

Refine pages, technical implementation, internal links, and local signals.

Expand

Develop useful new service or informational content where justified.

Repeat

Continue adapting based on evidence.

11 / Results

Too early for a victory lap.

The website launched in August 2026. The SEO program is ongoing.

There are no ranking, traffic, lead, or conversion improvements we're prepared to attribute to this work yet. Organic search is still being measured after launch.

As the SEO engagement progresses, we'll update this project record with results that can actually be supported.

Results belong here when we have them.

12 / The takeaway

SEO isn't something we're adding to the website. We're building the website around it.

Uxbridge Dental Care represents the kind of SEO work we prefer: development, architecture, content, local search, and ongoing optimization working from the same plan.

The website was not finished first and handed over for SEO afterward. Search requirements shaped what was built. The SEO program continues from that foundation.

The results still need to be earned. That's what the ongoing engagement is for.

Build the foundation first.

If search is supposed to become a meaningful source of business, we'll look at the website, architecture, content, technical implementation, and local presence together. Then we'll build and improve what the evidence supports.
